Splinters are an Original Species. All Splinters used to belong to one Giant Energy source. But that source exploded into millions of bits, which eahc formed a creature known as the splinters. there are two different kinds of Splinters.
The first sub species are rather gentle and use mostly their Magic and special Element (the first two).
The second sub species are more aggressive and mostly rely on their own physical strenght. (the last two)
All of those are cats but there might be other animal species involved later.
